Do you cater to allergies?
We do our very best to accommodate guests with allergies and dietary requirements, always in full compliance with Natasha’s Law. Our team is trained to handle allergen information carefully, and we prioritise food safety in everything we do.
However, please be aware that our kitchens are open and active environments, where a variety of ingredients are handled. While every effort is made to minimise the risk, we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from cross-contamination.

Do you have gluten-free options?
We offer a selection of non–gluten-containing recipes at Chez Antoinette, and we’re always happy to help guide guests through the menu to find options that suit their needs.
That said, bread is at the heart of what we do, especially at our Covent Garden location, where tartines—open-faced sandwiches—are central to the experience and deeply rooted in French tradition. As such, the risk of cross-contamination is present across all our kitchens, particularly where bread plays a key role.
Additionally, all our desserts and cakes are homemade at Maison Gigi, our French bakery, where gluten-containing flour is heavily used. While every care is taken in preparation, we cannot guarantee any item is entirely free from gluten traces.
If you follow a gluten-free diet or have a gluten intolerance, we recommend speaking with a member of our team, who will gladly assist and make recommendations with care and transparency.

Are your cakes and pastries homemade?
Yes—nearly all of our desserts and pastries are homemade at Maison Gigi, our French bakery in Victoria. Crafted in pure French tradition, our sweet treats are made using high-quality ingredients, lovingly transformed into the pastries and desserts our guests know and love.
Among our signature offerings, you’ll find canelés de Bordeaux with their signature caramelised crust, our revisited brioche pain aux raisins, the indulgent brioches with pink pralines from Lyon, a perfectly balanced lemon tart, and seasonal crumbles full of warmth and comfort.
The only exceptions are our croissants and pains au chocolat, which we source from one of the finest French producers, chosen for their exceptional quality and authenticity.
Whether you’re stopping by for a morning pastry, an afternoon pick-me-up, or dessert after your meal, our homemade pâtisserie is a true taste of France—elevating simple ingredients into delightful, high-quality creations.
